Presentation of the project - Against cultural boredom

 

In order to enrich the cultural content of local communities in Serbia, the Balkankult Foundation has developed programs of international cultural content that offer local homes of culture, cultural centers, museums and galleries. A rich and varied cultural life of local communities by presenting artistic content created in other areas is a prerequisite for a quality life for citizens in these areas. Otherwise, local residents disatisified with the situation in their local environment will leave and thus deprive their communities of young people and intellectual capacity. The consequences are directly reflected in the economic, educational and social potential of these areas.

Highlights largest projects that have made the greatest impact on regional cooperation: Nordic-Balkan cultural cooperation, (the 2003rd to 2006th year.) Nordic Panorama - Film Festival (since 2005, every year), Days of Lapland in Serbia (2005). , Days of Icelandic Culture in Serbia (2005th year.) Days of Serbian culture in Iceland (2006th), Days of Culture of Ireland in Belgrade (2008th), Days of Culture of Iceland (2009th), the ancient heritage of Vojvodina - the cultural continuity, Monfalkone, Italy (2009th). The offer is a range of programs that illustrate the cultural offer and cooperation with artists from Mexico, Germany, Russia, Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Egypt, America and the countries of the Balkan region.

Featured programs have very high artistic level and represent the result of interregional and international cooperation Balkankult with partners from abroad. Incurred as a result of the exchange of ideas, creativity and good will - of artists, cultural practitioners and individuals with a vision in which supports the beauty of life.

Displaying the actual content of renowned contemporary authors, in concrete ways to contribute to decentralization of cultures and accessibility of high quality cultural programs - admirers of culture in smaller communities. The programs are particularly attractive for the younger population, and for the local environment, this is a unique vantage point to engage in international cultural cooperation and enrich the cultural life in its environment. All programs are accompanied by printed promotional materials in the form catalogs, flyers, etc.. List programs are constantly supplemented.
