In the Sounds of the Places, Press 2005

Italian musicians in Serbia and Montenegro
The guest performance of Italian string quartet Karmelos, which will take place on July 23rd in the foyer of the Museum of Srem in Sremska Mitrovica, will initiate the international project In the Sounds of the Places, during which the Italian artists will play on tour in Belgrade, Zajecar, Smederevo, Bar and Perast, announced Balkankult Foundation. This year’s tour includes also the performances of the quintet Kalamos and the quartet from Cremona.

Music festival In the Sounds of the Places starts tomorrow
The festival includes the list of the cities in Italy and in the region of former Yugoslavia. The aim is to include and link smaller towns and to develop their economic collaboration and tourism.
In the sounds of the Places is organized by the Association Progetto musica from Montefalcone and Balkankult foundation from Belgrade and they are supported by the Italian Government.
