Charter signed by the Ministers for culture of the SEE region

In Copenhagen, March 31st 2005, a charter was signed by the Ministers for culture in the SEE region.  Nordic Council of Ministers was the body to initiate this conference of cultural ministers in order to enhance the regional cultural cooperation. 

The objectives of the newly formed Council are to promote a spirit of understanding, comprehensive cultural dialogue and construct joint cultural strategies and projects as well as exchange information and experiences. 

The presidency is formed on an annual basis, Albania being first to take the role.
