BalkanKult has been choosen to be a partner of Progetto Musica Association from Udine (Italy) for the project entitled International Festival in the Sounds of Places with the specific intenetion of enhancing, through fine superior music, small places with interesting but rather unknown historical, architectural, naturalistic, oeno-gastronomical features. The festival in the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia is used as a ''leading container'' able to produce, host, decentralize and distribute a transregional and international cooperation project, based on the development of cultural and environmental tourism through a musical circuit extended to a whole single area, just like to one defined by the concept of Adriatic Euroregion, now represented by Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia Romagne, Marchem Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Albania. The project will be hopefuly financed by Interreg IIIA Programme and other interregional programmes.
