CULTURAL CITY NETWORK
CCN The CCN was founded in 1989.CCN is organized by the Kulturvermittlung Steiermark on behalf of the City of Graz. Mission: + The Cultural City Network Graz was founded in 1989 with the aim to initiate or to intensify cultural connections between Central – European cities, with not only bilateral partnerships, but also on a multilateral basis. These co – operations distinctively focus on South – Eastern Europe. The work of the CCN is based on personal contacts to artists and people engaged in a cultural field. The cultural co-operation takes place without any financial commitments, for the most part the costs of the projects are financed by the City of Graz. Currently more than 40 cities are members of this network. Aims: +Organisation and realization of international art projects, such as (touring)- exhibitions, workshops, conferences on culture etc. +Scholarships for artists and writers +Co-organisation and support of various international cultural projects +Publishing catalogs, books, etc. Activities: + CCN touring exhibitions: ”Unique Sign Unique Location Mostar 2000” ”Fellner & Helmer.
