Lava people in Belgrade

The opening of Lana's exhibitionThe inauguration of the exhibition of the ceramist Lana Matuša, called Lava people, took place on October 11, in the small gallery of ULUPUDS.

Lana Matusa was born in Serbia and Montenegro, but she has been living and working for several years in Rejkjavik, in Iceland, as a freelance artist. This strange and magical country has inspired the artist with its countryside, but also with its fairy tales and legends, which narrate that trolls and sleepers-guards of Iceland live in lava. Lana Matusa makes lava people out of authentic material gathered on the island. The exhibition will be opened until 25th October.
